Holzbau Hess brings walls and ceilings to life in this free-form timber interior. Rather than flat panels, the surfaces flow and curve, creating a continuous wood envelope. And rather than hiding structure, the design reveals it. Beams, ribs, and junctions are exposed as part of the aesthetic — each line deliberate, each surface crafted.
The effect is warm and immersive. Light dances across joined curves. Sound softens in response to the wood’s texture. Walking through, one feels held by space — not enclosed, but shaped by it.
This project used 30 m³ timber and was finished in October 2021.
