Free Form
Private Residence, Rosh Pina
This Private Residence in Rosh Pina embodies Holzbau Hess’s expertise in crafting bespoke free form timber architecture that harmonises sculptural design with everyday living. Commissioned as a guest house within this distinguished residential project, our team delivered the full spectrum of engineering design, precision manufacture, and on‑site installation of timber elements, tailored to the client’s vision and architectural intent.
Collaborating with Pieter Mostert Architects, Holzbau Hess engineered a series of custom timber components using South African pine, selected for both its structural quality and natural warmth. Each element was treated and finished with satin varnish to ensure enduring performance while enhancing the residence’s material expression and spatial character.
This project highlights our commitment to free form timber solutions — where fluid geometry meets meticulous craftsmanship, and where thoughtful material choices elevate the architectural experience. The Rosh Pina guest house stands as a refined example of how innovative timber design can enrich residential environments with both aesthetic depth and structural elegance.
