Holzbau Hess’s “Free-form” roof construction project in Windhoek is not simply a roof, it’s more of a wooden scultpure with twisted and bent surfaces, animating light and shadow across the structure. With 40 m³ of glulam timber, the design weaves curves and flows that defy boxy convention, forming a dynamic canopy over space.
This project was completed in February 2022.
